Program Director- Manages and develops the structure of the programs, manages the programs staff and operations, financial duties, and maintains relationships with parents, families and the community.

Karen Johnson is the Children’s Pastor at Valley Christian Church where she has served and attended for over twenty years. She is passionate about creating loving, nurturing environments where children can learn, grow and establish a firm foundation on God’s Word. Karen is a graduate of Liberty University. She draws upon her experiences as a pastor, teacher, ministry director, counselor and last but not least a loving mom, in order to create spaces where children can flourish.
Karen and her husband Aaron are happily married with four adult children and 3 grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys reading, good conversations, early morning walks, ice cream at any time, and spending time with family and friends.
